Quality Food Distributors Ghana Ltd

Cashew Processing & Export · Bono Region, Ghana

Ghana’s Harvest.
Finished in Ghana.

We process raw cashew into export-grade kernels at origin — retaining the value, the jobs and the quality control on the continent.

The Opportunity

90% of Ghana’s cashew leaves raw.
That is about to change.

Ghana grows roughly 250,000 tonnes of raw cashew a year and processes less than a tenth of it at home. In February 2026 the government moved to end raw exports outright, targeting 50–60% local processing through the Tree Crops Development Authority.

We are built for exactly that shift. From our facility in Drobo, in the Bono Region, we source raw cashew from Ghanaian farmers, process it to international market requirements, and export 100% of what we produce.

Quality & Food Safety

Quality you can verify,
not just claim

Buyers in this trade have been promised consistency before. We would rather be checked than believed — so every claim here is one we can evidence on paper.

Impact

Processing at origin is the whole point

A tonne processed in Ghana is worth far more to Ghana than a tonne shipped out raw — in wages, in skills and in what stays behind.

Up to 10×

Local employment

More jobs created per tonne processed at origin than exported raw, on an estimate from the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council.

Bono

Processed where it grows

Our facility in Drobo sits in one of Ghana’s main cashew-growing areas, so the crop travels from farm to factory rather than farm to port.

100%

Exported

All of the cashew we process is sold to international buyers — export earnings generated in Ghana rather than by a processor abroad.

For Investors

An investable position in a market
the government just re-shaped

The policy shift, the supply, the demand and the margin are all pointing the same way. Here is the case, with the numbers.
